Sarah Robertson

Shreveport, LA - Life's Earthly journey for Sarah Robertson has ended on August 16, 2015; but her life with our Lord and Savior is just beginning. She is spending time with Jesus in His mansion He has prepared for her. Sarah was born April 21, 1942 in Bay Springs, MS to Travis and Audell Grace. She was one of four children. Sarah was a member of Haynes Avenue Baptist Church; she loved her family and church family dearly. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and love of her life, Kenneth Louis Robertson; son, John David Gray; brothers, Bobby Dale Grace (wife Imogene) and James H. Grace (Pete). She is survived by daughters, Cheryl Head and husband, Robert, Vickie Ellingburg and husband, Charles of Shreveport, LA.; Dana Armstrong and husband, Wayne, Kimberly Waites and husband, Rob of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Tiffany Nusbaum and husband, Stephen, Samantha Rodgers and husband, Dustin, Brittany Ellingburg and finance\', Josh Becken, and Sarah Ellingburg all of Shreveport, LA; Amber Gray, Ashley Tagert and husband, Jeff, Katie Henson and husband, Cory, Adam Armstrong, Jacob Armstrong, Amelia Waites, Ryan Waites, of MS; great-grandchildren, Abbigail, Ethan, Anna, Savannah, Gavin, Gracelynn, Sawyer, Madelyn and Ryan of Shreveport, LA; Veronica, Zackery, Cameron, Hunter, Zoey, Brantley and Aubrey of MS; sister, Sandra Adams of MS; nieces, nephews of MS and AL. Anyone who knew Sarah knew her favorite color was red; so the family will show their love and wear something red and invites you to wear something red if you like. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA; with Dr. Mike Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Stephen Nusbaum, Dustin Rodgers, Jeffrey Head, Josh Becken, Buddy Morehead, and Art Ruggles. Special thanks to the nurses of Christus Home Hospice (Grace Home) Robyn Watkins, Debbie Pirvis, Judy Snell for all the love and care that has been shown to our Mother. We love and appreciate everything that you have done to make this journey easier on her, our family and her daily caregivers, Debbie Carter and Gladys Walker.
