A proud graduate of Fair Park High School’s Class of 1965, Scott began forging his path with further studies at Louisiana Tech University. He spent two years laying the groundwork for a career that would be marked by dedication and innovation. His ambition and vision continued to flourish when, in 2009, he founded Oliphint Investments. As owner and president, Scott proudly led multiple ventures, including Oliphint & Sons, Scott Oliphint Investments, and Oliphint Tree Farm. His strong ties to the Iron Workers Union and Operator’s Union reflected his dedication to his trade, while his involvement with the Shriners and Scottish Rite Masons highlighted his commitment to community service.
Scott’s life wasn’t only defined by his professional achievements. He was a man of deep passions and simple pleasures. Hunting and fishing brought him peace and connection with the beauty of nature. Traveling with his late wife, Jerri Gwen filled his heart with treasured memories of shared adventures. Time spent with friends was a source of joy, and his laughter, stories, and camaraderie left lasting impressions on all who knew him.
As we remember Scott, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, passion, and love. His legacy is carried forward by the lives he touched and the memories he created, serving as a reminder of a man who truly made the world a better place.
