Scotty Gene Owens

Graveside services for Scotty Gene Owens, 61, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the graveside service. Scotty was born July 9, 1956 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on May 25, 2018 in Shreveport. Scotty was preceded in death by his father, William David Owens, Jr.; grandparents, Olive and Charlie Leach. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Elizabeth Owens; brothers, Michael Owens and wife Grace and David Owens and wife Mandy; son, Cyrus Elijah Owens; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Pallbearers will be David Owens, Mike Owens, Cyrus Owens, William David Owens, Eddie Wallace, and Shane Russell.
