SHELBYVILLE, TX--funeral services honoring the life of Shane Wesley Curry, Sr., 54, will be at 3:00 PM, Monday, October 16, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA. Burial will be held at Bethel Cemetery in Logansport, LA. The family will receive friends for visitation at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 4PM till 8PM. Shane was born on June 20, 1963 to J.W. Curry and Robbie Martin Huffman and entered into rest on October 13, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father; nephew, Christopher Curry; and mother-in-law, Janet Gipson. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathy Curry; his mother, Robbie Huffman and husband Jerry of Brunson, TX; his sons, Russell Chism and wife Courtney of Center, TX, and Shane Curry and special friend Kellly Grey of Graham, TX; daughters, Brittney Dockens and husband Stephen of Nacogdoches, TX, and Janet Furlow and husband Logan of Nacogdoches, TX; three sisters, Sharon Worsham of Logansport, LA, Vernese Curry Green of Mansfield, LA, and Theresa Curry Womack and husband Horace of Mansfield, LA; three brothers, Ricky Curry and wife Kathleen of Mansfield, LA, Rocky Curry and wife Kerin of Logansport, LA, and Christopher Curry of Longview, TX; and grandchildren, Christina Dockens, Laredon Chism, Corbin Chism, and Lily Dockens.
