Shane Michael Loughner

Funeral services for Shane Michael Loughner, 32, will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd. in Shreveport. A visitation will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Shane was born on October 20, 1990 to Michael Lewis Loughner and Debora Kay Loughner in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 in Shreveport.

Shane was a resident of Keithville, Louisiana. He served in the Marine Corps in Afghanistan where he received two purple hearts. He was a wonderful son and husband. Shane was very generous and would do anything for anybody.  He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was married to the love of his life, Moni Devora-Loughner (Lisa). Together they shared their lives with all their fur babies.

Shane is preceded in death by his parents, both sets of grandparents, two uncles and a cousin. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Lisa; Uncle Frederick Loughner and his children, Fallon Loughner and Summer Loughner, and Uncle James Loughner and wife, Erin;  Aunt Syble Bentley and husband, Wayne, and their children, Rhonda Dyson and her son, Cody, Melissa Lewis and husband, Kevin, and their child, Ashlyn Gandy, and Michele Melton and husband, Lance, and their children, Kaylee and Cole; Aunt Patricia Tuesburg and husband, Lee, and their children, Lindsay Moroney, Daniel Tuesburg, Casey Tuesburg and Haley Early and Haley’s children, Shea and Tristan; Aunt Rose Roland and husband, Rick, and their children, Chad Roland and Caitlyn Russell; and Aunt Susan Lester and husband, Mark; Aunt Sharon Boyette and her son, Jamey Boyette and wife, Jennie and their children, Gregory Deyo, Erica Deyo, Jonathan Deyo; cousins, Justin Boyette and wife, Rebecca and their children, Colette Allred and David; Jessica Davis and husband, George and their children, Bethany and Myra; Jackie Boyette and her children, Jasmine and Austin; and numerous other family members.

The family would like to express special thanks to the doctors and nurses of Willis-Knighton South for their valiant efforts to try and save Shane’s life.
