Shreveport, La- A memorial service for Shannon Kay Thomas Young, 58, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 235 Flournoy Lucas Rd. Shreveport, La 71106. Officiating will be Reverend Tommy Allen. Shannon was born August 23, 1956 in Shreveport, LA to Paul Orr Thomas and Carmen Ruth Woodson Strange. She passed away on May 29, 2015 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carmen Ruth Strange. She is survived by her father, Paul Orr Thomas, husband, Don R. Young, son, Randall Jason Brown, and wife, Tracy Durr Brown, daughters, Carmen Elizabeth Brown, LeAnda Kelsey, Esma L. Nixon, Catherine M. Brehmer, and husband Dustin, and LeCreasha M.
