Shari Anne Shamsie

Funeral services for Shari Anne Shamsie, 59, will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 522 E. Flournoy Lucas Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. A private  inurnment will take place at Forest Park West Cemetery at a later date. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 5:15 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Father Rothell Price.

Shari was born on March 30, 1963 in Jennings, Louisiana to Charles Ahmed Shamsie and Letha Mae Richard Shamsie and passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022 in Shreveport.

Shari was a wonderful mother, sister and friend. She enjoyed bowling and horseback riding in her earlier years and loved listening to all types of music. She loved spending time with her family and friends and had a special place in her heart for her two dogs, Ava and Kaley.

Shari is preceded in death by her father, Charles Ahmed Shamsie. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Letha Shamsie Davis and stepfather, Bob Davis; daughter, Courtney Lilley; sisters, Rhonda Wyatt and Janet Rosado; and brother, Chuck Shamsie.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Shamsie, Cameron Shamsie, Armando Rosado, Pug Wyatt, Logan Wyatt and Bob Davis.
