Sherri Lynn Temple

Sherri Lynn Temple, 58, of Mansfield, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 16, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Sherri was born on December 6, 1964 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to Harvey Bradley and Patricia Fife.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023 located at Magnolia Baptist Church in Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bro. Amador Santos. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.

Sherri was a loving and giving mother, sister, daughter, mammaw, and was everyone’s “Aunt Sherri”. She was the one that kept us all in line, and we will truly be lost without her. Sherri was employed at the local Walmart in Mansfield and later worked at DeSoto Regional Hospital. She found her true calling in Dentistry. Sherri spent 25 years with Dr. Andrew Murphy and anyone that saw him, also saw her. Sherri would hold your hand to comfort anyone in the dentist’s chair. She never met a stranger and always helped others before herself. Not only did she raise her own children, she also raised everyone else’s children as well.

Sherri was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Bradley; husband, Bruce E. Temple; son, Jon Ryan Temple; and son-in-law, Jason Sant. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Fife Bradley; daughter, Tabitha Temple Sant and fiancé Josh Foshee of Stanley, Louisiana, and Megan Temple of Stanley, Louisiana; sisters, Debra Palmer and husband Alan Wayne of Stanley, Louisiana, Kerri Golden of Texas, and Coreen Burt of Texas; brother, Gary Burt of Texas; along with her grandchildren, Dalton Temple, Rylan Temple, Aspen Temple, Jarren Sant, Kendal Sant, and Kori Sant.

Honoring Sherri as pallbearers will be Dalton Temple, Rylan Temple, DJ Farris, Newton Farris, Justin Reed, Josh Foshee, and Ricky Temple. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dennis “Bebo” Farris, Daniel Gallaspy, and Alan Wayne Palmer.
