Sherry Ann Chambers

SHREVEPORT, LA - Sherry Ann Chambers, 68, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 18, 2016 after a lengthy illness. She was born May 18, 1947 in Sikeston, Missouri to Charles Ray Owens and Dottie Lee Owens. Sherry lived most of her adult life in Shreveport, LA. She was a Stephen F. Austin graduate. Sherry loved her children, husband, and family. Sherry is survived by her mother, Dottie Owens; son, Jason Chambers and wife, Abby Fontenot and daughter, Jolie Fontenot; son John Chambers; son Jacob Chambers and wife, Jill, and sons, Blake and Bryce Chambers; brother-in-law, Randy Burnett and niece, Rebecca Burnett. Sherry has been reunited in Heaven with her father, Charles Owens, sister, Sonja Burnett, and husband, Don Chambers. Funeral services for Sherry will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 Atlantic Ave., Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport.
