SHREVEPORT, LA- Graveside service for Shiria Gaye Johnson Bowman, 75, will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Park in Shreveport, Louisiana with Brother Jeff Feibel officiating. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Southside between 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday August 8, 2017.
Gaye was born September 7th, 1941 to Sudye and James Johnson in Warren, Arkansas. She left to be with our Lord and Savior on August 6, 2017. She retired as a Family Service worker from the State of Louisiana.
Gaye was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, James Bowman, of 46 years. Left to cherish her beautiful memories are daughters, Janna Bowman Cox and husband Reece, and Jill Bowman Hicks and husband John; grandchildren, Robert Robinson, Whitney Robinson Mendoza, Logan Bowman, Brea Hicks Lee, Jarmon Hicks, James Michael Robinson, Kaitlyn Robinson Mills, Peyton Hicks, Johnathan Cox, Paige Cox; and great grandchildren, Ana-Patrick Mendoza, Cassidy Mendoza, Andie Bowman, Jordynn Bowman, Pepper Lee, and June Lee.
Honoring her as pallbearers are Logan Bowman, Payton Hicks, Jarmon Hicks, Corey Lee, Jonathan Cox, and Travis Colvin.
