Shirley Sue Aylor

Funeral services for Shirley Sue Aylor, 72, will be Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 9891 Texas Hwy, Many, Louisiana. A Burial will follow at Old Union Cemetery in Benson, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Brother Joey Anding and Josh Anding. 

Shirley was born on July 25, 1952 to Jim William Burr II and Mary Ellen Burr in Mansfield, Louisiana and passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 in Nacogdoches, Texas. 

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ellen and Jim Burr II; sisters, Melissa Cheatwood, Sonja K. Burr, and Carolyn Taylor; and brother, Jim William Burr III. She is survived by her sons, Chris Anding and wife, Brenda, of San Augustine, Texas, Josh Anding and wife, Rebecca, of Chireno, Texas, Joey Anding and wife, Lisa, of Many, Louisiana, Nathan Anding of Joaquin, Texas, and Daniel Anding of Joaquin, Texas; sisters, Katherin Ebarb, of Stanley, Louisiana, Linda Burr of Logansport, Louisiana, Deborah Spinks and husband, Roy, of Joaquin, Texas, and Becky Harrington and husband, Terry, of Fairfax, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Honoring Shirley as pallbearers will be Austin Anding, Chris Anding, Josh Anding, Nathan Anding, Michael Pennington, and Shane Taylor. Serving as honorary pallbearers are C.J. Nash and John Russell.
