Shirley Faye Bailes

MANSFIELD, LA--Shirley Faye Bailes, 78, of Mansfield, LA, was born on April 2, 1939 to Tom and Callie Knippers and entered into rest on June 28, 2017, in Mansfield Nursing Center after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Bailes; sons, Lance Bailes and Clyde T. "Buzzy" Moran. She is survived by daughter Debby Pounds, extended family and many friends. Mrs. Bailes was a long time member of Southside Baptist Church in Mansfield, LA. A time of visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA, from 9:00 AM till 10:00 AM Saturday, July 1, 2017. Graveside rites will follow at 11:15 AM at Beulah Cemetery in Ajax, LA with Rev. Larry Pridmore officiating. Honoring the life of Shirley as pallbearers will be Kenneth Hughes, Wayne Williams, Kenneth Lee, Wayne Hooper and Jack Guy.
