Shirley Feazel

Shirley Wyatt Feazel was born in Marthaville, Louisiana on April 1, 1938. She went to be with the Lord on May 25, 2018, surrounded by her family, after a lifelong illness. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Doug Feazel and by her great-grandson Hunter Feazel. She is survived by her son Jimmy Feazel and wife Darlene, daughter Brenda Koning and husband Craig, and her brother Huey Wyatt and wife Gwen. She has 5 grandchildren who were the love of her life - Ashley Feazel, Trey Feazel (Tiphanie), Jennifer Cook (John), Kimberly Baker, and Claire Koning. She also has 5 great grandchildren that she adored - Evan and Eli Stuart, Kendall Grace Feazel, and Garett and Mason Cook. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside from 5-7 PM. The service will be at Rose-Neath Southside on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at 2 PM. Burial will be at Forest Park West Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Barry Rambin, Ronald Brown, Jeff Shadoin, Glenn Brannen, Kevin Johnson, and Tim Stuart. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmie Evans and Terry Reynolds. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at The Oaks Health Center who cared for her every day. The love they had for her was evident in the way they treated her. We also want to thank Dianne Brannen, who she loved like a daughter. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her love for her family was only exceeded by her love of her savior Jesus Christ.
