MANSFIELD, LA--Funeral services honoring the life of Shirley McGlathery, 86, will be at 11:00 AM Friday, May 26, 2017 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Stanley, LA with Reverend Richard Tull and Reverend Amador Santos officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Stanley, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 5PM till 7PM. Shirley was born on June 6, 1930 and entered into rest on May 22, 2017. Preceding Shirley in death are her two husbands, Cecil Ray Parker, Frank Glen McGlathery; and brothers, Kenneth Roberts, and Glen Roberts. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Jerome Keith Parker of Logansport, LA, Cecil Ray Parker II and his wife Roi Sue Parker of Lorenzo, TX; daughter, Suzette Parker Shaw and her husband Patrick of Frierson, LA; brother, Ted Roberts and his wife Alice of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren, Jamy and Amy Parker; great grandchildren, Cody Smith and Claire Parker; and special sister-in-law, Opal Roberts of Stanley, LA. Honoring the life of Shirley as pallbearers will be Bill Roberts, Josh Salley, Randy Roberts, Joseph Salley, David Caston and Lyn Springer.
