Shirley LaRae Mofield

Shirley LaRae Mofield, age 88 was born on June 9, 1935 in Willows, California to Leslie E. White and Etta Butler White and went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 2, 2023 at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home in Bossier City, LA.

Mrs. Mofield was a homemaker, member of the First Methodist Church in Willows, California, a beloved campfire girls’ leader, member VFW Auxiliary Post #1747 in Oroville, California. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and  great grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Mrs. Mofield was preceded in death by her daughter, Leslie Rae Cornell; great granddaughter, Layla McCoy; three brothers, Hugh White, Lester White and Darrell White and her sister, Emily Green.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 67 years, Richard Wayne Mofield; daughter, Diane K. Mofield and husband, John M. Milan; 7 grandchildren, Christopher Foust and wife, Shayna, Melissa McCoy, Aaron Cornell, Jason Cornell and wife, Brianna, Heather Brown and husband, Corey, Micheal Milan and Matthew Milan; 8 great grandchildren, Emily McCoy, Connor McCoy, Findlay McCoy, Ellis McCoy, Estelle Foust, Charles Foust, Riley Brown and Peyton Brown and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
