Vivian, LA - Graveside services celebrating the life of Shirley Murry, age 84 will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Vivian Cemetery. Officiating will be Father James McLelland of St. Clement Catholic Church. There will be a time of visitation on Thursday, November 19th at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA., 71082 from 6-8 P.M.
Mrs. Murry was born in Call, Texas on November 11, 1931 to Royal and Irma Cochran and passed away on November 17, 2015 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Clement Catholic Church.
Mrs. Murry is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clayton L. Murry, Jr. and son, Steven A. Murry. She is survived by her children, Roy Murry and wife, Amanda; Clayton "Larry" Murry, III and wife, Stephanie; Bonny Brock and Kerry Brock and husband, Edwin. Mrs. Murry is also survived by her grandchildren, Angela Channell, Shirley Brock, Phillip Murry, Clay Murry, Ethan Brock, Patrick Brock and wife, Sarah, Abigail Williams, Shawn Murry and wife, Kim, Jacob Murry, Jarred Murry, Matthew Murry and wife, Jessica and Zach Murry; great grandchildren, Marc Brock, Aiden Brock. Orbin Williams, Caleb Williams, Cole Murry, Cassie Murry, Jenna Murry, and Bailey Murry.
Honoring Mrs. Murry as pallbearers will be Ethan Brock, Patrick Brock, Marc Brock, Corbin Williams, Clay Murry, Phillip Murry and Matthew Murry.
