Shirley Plunkett

Celebration of life and going home service for Shirley Plunkett, 75, was held Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Abundant Life Worship Center in Coushatta at 2:00 PM with Reverend William Hall and Reverend Loyce Plunkett officiating. Interment followed at Bethany Cemetery in Coushatta, LA. Visitation was held Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Ms. Plunkett was born November 28, 1941, in Coushatta, LA to Richard Stevenson and Lillie Mae Vascocu Gardner and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 12, 2017, in Shreveport, LA. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Richard Gardner and Hubert Gardner; and sisters-in-law, Carolyn Gardner and Sharon Gardner. Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Tina Tarrance and husband, Jerry of Coushatta, LA; brother, Shelby Gardner of Coushatta, LA; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Gardner of Coushatta, LA; grandchildren and the joy of her life, William "Bubba" Tarrance and wife, Jana of Martin, LA and Amber "Sissy" Dotson and husband, Jeremy of Bossier City, LA; three great-grandchildren, Blake Lewis, Peyton Lewis, Hadiley Tarrance; and two special friends, Janell Thomley and Arthur Evans.
