Shirley Wilk Sperling

A graveside service honoring the life of Shirley Wilk Sperling will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in Agudath Achim Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rabbi Sydni Rubinstein.

Shirley Wilk Sperling was born November 11, 1931 in Bronx, New York to Phillip and Dorothy Waltzer Wilk and passed away, Sunday, October 2, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Abe Sperling.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Howard Silberman and wife, Charlie, Lloyd Silberman and wife, Ellen, and Renee Silberman Brown and husband, Louis; grandchildren, Barbra, Joshua, Ariel, Daniel, Mindy, David, Michael, and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Ava, Helena and Arianna; and sister, Margi Forrest.

The family suggests memorials may be made to Agudath Achim Synagogue,  9401 Village Green Dr. Shreveport, LA 71115.
