Shirley Marie Spinks of Joaquin, Texas entered into eternal rest on November 4, 2020. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020 located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, Louisiana. A second visitation will be held at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. service time. Interment will follow the service located at Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Shirley was born on October 16, 1955 in Houston, Texas to Delbert and Faye O'Neal. Shirley enjoyed several hobbies such as arts and crafts, embroidery, word puzzles, watching her favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys, drinking coffee, and smoking cigarettes. Shirley is preceded by her father, Delbert O'Neal, Sr.; sister, Deborah Faye Doris; brothers, Leslie Ray O'Neal and Delbert O'Neal, Jr.; grandson, Tyler Michael Hendricks. She is survived by her husband, Roy Spinks; mother, Faye Louise O'Neal; children, John Frank Hendricks, Jr., Tina Hendricks, Roy Glenn Spinks, and John Wayne Spinks; sister, Florence Irene Lopez; ten grandchildren and numerous cousins and friends.
