Funeral services for Shirley Ann Watson will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Bill Crider officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family will receive friends from 12 noon til service time Saturday. Shirley was born September 24, 1934 in Holly Ridge, Louisiana and entered into rest January 14, 2016 in Minden, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband William "Billy" Watson, daughter Carol Perry and brother Rayford McManus. She is survived by her son Kenneth Watson of Minden, daughter Joyce Weems of Benton, sisters Norma Carney of Stonewall, Marilyn Parker of Zwolle, brother Donnie McManus of Frierson, six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and nine great great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert Horton, Dan Wolfe, Gary Silas, Dalton Horton, Donnie McManus, and Nathan Weems.
