Simon Rudolph Ebarb

Graveside services for Simon "Rudolph" Ebarb, 93, will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road in Shreveport, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath South Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Father Rothell Price. Rudolph was born on September 19, 1927 in Zwolle, Louisiana to Simon Louis Ebarb and Elva Ebarb and passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 in Shreveport. Rudolph worked in route sales for a bakery before retiring. He enjoyed being with his family and friends when his health permitted. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 63 years, Eloise Ebarb; and daughter, Patricia Manning. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Simon Ebarb and wife, Maggie, Kenneth Ebarb and wife, Jeanette; son-in-law, Tommy Manning and wife, Pam; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and close friend, Wendell Brooks, with whom he remained best friends for many years. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff of the Guest House and Amanda Lolley for all the care, love, support and compassion given to Rudolph during his illness.
