Sonya Idelle McComic

Sonya McComic, 53, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 26, 2018. Her smile would light up any room she walked in to. She was a nurse for 35 years, with 18 years at Willis Knighton, and loved bringing babies into this world. Her joy was being with her grandbabies, Embry and Laney. She is survived by her fiancé, Randall Nesbett; son, Brandon Todaro and wife, Gentry; daughters, Laura Todaro and Emma Todaro; mother, JoAnn McComic; brothers, Greg McComic and wife Brenda and Jeremy McComic and wife Amy; and grandbabies, Embry and Laney Todaro. She is preceded in death by her father, Bobby McComic and her maternal and paternal grandparents. She will be missed by many. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Keithville First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Stowell officiating. Interment will follow in Keithville First Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Harris, Skipper Williams, Cliff Starks, Buddy Freeman, and Ricky McKee. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
