Memorial services celebrating the life of Stacey Janelle Lefeaux Hollenshead, age 52, of Athens will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Athens Community Church of Athens with Perry Anderson officiating. Inurnment will be at Hurricane Cemetery at a later date.
Stacey was born in Baton Rouge to Lawrence “Skipper” Lefeaux III and Jackie Lefeaux Cook. She passed away on Friday, July 6, 2024, in Minden, Louisiana. She was a graduate of Homer High School and NWLA Votech. She was very creative and talented working with flowers making amazing arrangements was a hobby that she thoroughly enjoyed. She always had a project. She loved to be with her grandkids and friends. She was working at Brookshires Grocery in Minden.
Stacey is preceded in death by her father Skipper Lefeaux, mother Jackie Cook, paternal grandparents Lawrence and Nelle Lefeaux, maternal grandparents Otis and Jane Fulks, brother-in-law Jon Spurlock and nephew Jeremy Watkins.
She is survived by her daughters Emelie Hollenshead and Kathryn Hollenshead, father of her children Bill Hollenshead, sisters Cindy Watkins and husband Keith, Janet Spurlock, grandkids Scarlet, Jake, and Maddy Pruitt, Zeke and Kalina Harmanson, niece Kerri Shackelford, nephew Justin Watkins and wife Liz, great nieces Peyton Shackelford and Lillie Watkins, great nephew Brayden Watkins, special friend Charlie Lowe and other family and friends.
