Stanton Bruce Carroll

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services will be held for Stanton Bruce Carroll, 64, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Rev. B.J. Rocky Maddox will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Beloved brother and uncle went home to his Lord and Savior Sunday, August 7, 2016. He loved his family, but anyone who met him, knew he loved the Lord above all. He was a Biblical scholar, author and disciple for his Lord. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Stanton B. Carroll and Dorothy Lou Hardee Carroll, grandparents Stanton Carroll, Sr. and Kathleen Carroll and brother-in-law James Bozeman. Those left to cherish his wonderful memory are his sisters Pat Lewis and husband Richard, and Nicki Bozeman; 4 nieces, 4 nephews, along with several great-nieces and great-nephews. Honoring Bruce as pallbearers will be Rodney Bozeman, Charles Bozeman, Van Lewis, Daryl Brossette, Jacob McRae, Hunter Brossette.
