He is preceded in death by parents, Dage and Olivia Smith Thomas; brothers, Max Thomas, Grady Thomas, Rudolph Thomas and Sonny Thomas; and sister, Connie Thomas Murphy. He is survived by son, Randall S. Thomas and wife, Paula Wagner Thomas; daughter, Tami Thomas Linebarger and spouse, Joe P. Linebarger Jr ; and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
