Steven Lee Bryant

Funeral services for Steven Lee Bryant, 31, will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd. in Shreveport. A visitation will be held Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Dr. B.J. (Rocky) Maddox.

Steven was born on August 23, 1991 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Stacey Bryant and passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 in Shreveport.

Steven was a resident of Shreveport where he attended Southwood High School. He worked at Camp Bow Wow as a counselor. He was Counselor of the Month for May 2022. He loved playing his guitar and making jewelry with stones. He loved his dog, Nala. He enjoyed camping and dreamed of and planned to move to Colorado.

Steven is preceded in death by his grandfather, Foriest Jan Bryant. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Stacey Bryant; brother, Dakota Acklin; sister, Alyssa Acklin; grandmother, Gwin Bryant; Aunt Shelly and husband, Glenn Gortney and Shelly’s children, Ryan Camp and girlfriend, Meagan Allen, Allyson and husband, Jeremie Gillard; Aunt Shee and husband, Jeremy Rials and their children, Daniel Rials, Jackson Rials; and many other cousins.

Honoring Steven as pallbearers will be Ryan Camp, Dakota Acklin, Tracy Williams, Corwin Robbins, Ramel Woodard and Jeremie Gillard. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Cullen Lewis and Dale Sims.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the charity of their choice.
