EULESS, TX -- Steven Edward Pauls, 51, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 after a long, hard fought battle with kidney disease. Funeral services for Steven will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA 71118. Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 130 Stoner Ave., Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Clarence Chism.
Steven had lived in the area since 1982, moving here from his hometown of Shreveport, LA. He was a 1981 graduate of Southwood High School. Steven was a 30 year employee of American Airlines, where he made many great friends whom he considered as family. He was an avid cook and "foodie" always entertaining friends and family. He was also an avid sports fan, always looking forward to watching Cowboy games with his lifelong friend John Longino.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Booth and his grandmother, Margaret Brown. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted mother, Sandra Booth of Shreveport, LA; sisters, Deborah Booth of Euless, TX, Lisa Booth of Shreveport, LA and Cindy Bryant of Fort Worth, TX; and a host of friends and family, including his favorite four legged companion, Sophie.
Honoring Steven as pallbearers will be Kevin Garza, John Timmermann, Kennie Nelson, Charlie Tubbs, John Longino and Willie Baker.
The family suggests memorial donations may be made in Stevens honor to an animal shelter of your choice.
