HOMER, LA: Mr. Stovall Dailey "Dale" Foster was born September 11, 1922 in Hico, LA, to Robert "Mark" and Doda Dailey Foster. He entered into rest on Saturday, December 19, 2020, in Homer, LA, from pancreatic cancer and Covid-19 virus. A memorial service will be held in the future.Dale was the owner and proprietor of Claiborne Television where you could purchase a Zenith television or have it repaired. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Dale was a long-time member of the Homer Lions Club. He was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church of Homer where he served his Lord faithfully singing in the Chancel Choir. Dale was an avid member of the Homer Golf Course where he enjoyed golfing with family and friends. He was an active member of the WK Fitness Center of Homer until his early 90's. Dale attended weekly yoga classes as he inspired other members to follow his examples.Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Harris Foster; son, Mark Edward Foster; his parents; five brothers, Robert, Thomas, Lamar, Roy and Dick Foster; and two sisters, Gladys Williamson and Janyrue Wehlander.He is survived by his two daughters, Joellyn Lewis and husband Gary of Homer, LA, and Fran Calhoun and husband Mike of Homer, LA; five grandchildren, Dody Underwood and husband Les, Witt Foster and wife Lindsey, Rebecca Holloway and husband Stewart, Jeremie Calhoun and wife Amy, and Lettie Henley and husband Chris; twelve great-grandchildren, Paisley, Magnolia, Chuck, Zach, Evan, Adeline, Jaicey, Tanner, Riley, Lillie, Breana, and Katlyn; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.In lieu of flowers honoring Dale, his family suggests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church in Homer, LA.
