Susan Diane Barnes

Graveside services for Susan Diane Barnes will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Brushwood Cemetery in Dubberly, Louisiana with Bro. Leland Crawford officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:30 till 10:15 a.m. at Rose Neath Funeral home.

Diane was born October 25, 1957, in Minden, Louisiana and entered into rest August 23, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Diane was loved by everyone who knew her, and she possessed a compassionate spirit and was always willing to give. She loved her animals, and her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margie Plunkett and infant daughter, Holly Barnes.

She is survived by her sons, James Steven Barnes of Dubberly and Bradley Dayton Barnes of North Carolina; sisters, Judy Moorehead and husband Bobby of Minden and Kathy Lynn Rogers and husband Richard of Florida; grandchildren, Tyler Barnes, Tayler Barnes, Kennedi Washington, and Miken James Barnes, and one great-grandchild, Alori Symone Barnes.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Barnes, Tayler Barnes, Maurice Rabb, Tamerion (Tank) Phenix, and Tracy Weston.
