Vivian, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Susan Bounds McGuire, age 61 will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Vivian, LA with Blake Canterbury officiating. Interment will follow in the Vivian Cemetery, Vivian, LA. There will be a time of visitation on Saturday, November 29th from 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
Susan was born on November 07, 1953 in Vivian, LA to William (Billy) and Betty Moore Bounds and passed away on November 26, 2014 at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Facility after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Trees Baptist Church in Vivian, LA.
Susan is preceded in death by her father, Billy Bounds and is survived by her husband, Jimmie McGuire of Vivian: her children, Rachal Stevens and husband, Chris of Vivian, LA, Trey McGuire and wife, Tiffany of Shreveport, LA; mother, Betty Bounds of Vivian, LA; grandchildren, Paige Sherman and Conly Stevens both of Vivian, LA. She is also survived by her sisters, Terry Guy of Vivian, LA, Jerry Adcock and husband, Arthur of Atlanta, TX and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Pilgrim Manor Nursing Facility and staff of Bossier City for the love and compassion shown to her during her illness.
