A memorial service celebrating the life of Susan Schepp, 62, will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Woodridge Baptist Church. Visitation with the family will be at 10:00 a.m. at Woodridge Baptist Church, preceding the service. Officiating will be Dr. Chuck McInturf, and Dr. Mike Hawkins. Susan was born on February 23, 1952 to John and Jean McCormick in New Orleans, LA. She passed away after a brief illness on October 19, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. She recently retired after 30 years of teaching Kindergarten classes at Shreve Island Elementary School. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, knitting and sitting on the beach. Susan was a member of the Woodridge Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the church choir and working in the church nursery. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jean McCormick. She is survived by her loving husband, Rodney Schepp; son, Michael Schepp and wife, Lauren, daughters, Amy Schepp, and Leslie Schepp; grandchildren, Jacob Schepp, and Luke Schepp; siblings, Jan McCormick, and Patricia McCormick Jones and husband, Terry; nieces and nephews, Erin Jones, Stephen Jones and Kristen Rieger, and their children, Dylan and Layla Jones, and Mark Jones; sister-in-law, Sandra Arnold and husband, Robert and their son, Robby; mother-in-law Wilma Schepp. In lieu of flowers, Susan's family suggests that memorial gifts be made in her name to the Building Fund of Woodridge Baptist Church.   Rose-Neath Southside 2500 Southside Drive 318-687-1256
