Suzanne Aldridge

  SHREVEPORT, LA - Graveside services for Suzanne "Suzie" Aldridge, 60, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Cool Springs Cemetery in Logansport, LA. Rev. Bob Moore will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. Suzie had special needs but that never stopped her from achieving goals. She lived on her own for 35 years and was very independent. She could always be counted on for helping others in their time of need. Suzie was born on October 29, 1954 to Mr. Johnny Thurston and Mary Elizabeth Reed Aldridge in Shreveport and passed away on August 30, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, John Reed Aldridge and his wife, Brenda, and Kearby Aldridge; special niece, Sarah Aldridge; nephews, Reed Aldridge, Jr. and his wife, Laura, John B. Luttrell and his wife, Angela, and Dustin Aldridge and his wife, Lily; great-nieces, Abigail and Peyton Aldridge and Kristin Luttrell; great-nephews, Jack Aldridge, Sean Luttrell and Tim Aldridge; and her most loyal canine companion, Madison. Suzie's family would like to express their appreciation to Laura Standridge at The Arc for her compassion and care and a special thanks to Asunta for all the care she gave to Suzanne and for being a special friend.
