Suzy Sutton

A graveside service will be held for Suzy Sutton, at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Bear Creek Cemetery in Bryceland area. Bro. John Raymond will officiate.

Suzy was born December 12, 1946, in Baton Rouge, LA. She passed away on August 1, 2023, at her home in Bienville, LA with her loving husband by her side.

Suzy is a worthy woman as described in Proverbs 31:10-31.

10. An excellent wife, who can find?

      For her worth is far above jewels.

30. Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain,

      But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. 

I will miss her greatly until we meet again.

Suzy is preceded in death by her parents, John C Hays, Jr and Thelma Roberts Hays.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Larry Sutton, stepchildren Clay Sutton and Lara Simoneaux and husband Adam, grandchildren Kincaid Doogan, Connor Sutton, and Madison Sutton, sister Katie Avant, and by brother Clayton Hays.

Honoring Suzy as pallbearers will be Clay Sutton, Adam Simoneaux, Kincaid Doogan, Mark Sutton, Nick Shaw, and Clayton Hays.
