Sybil Bridges Bell

Funeral services for Sybil Bridges Bell will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Bill Crider officiating. Interment will follow at Minden Cemetery in Minden. The family will receive friends from 10 until service time Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Sybil was born July 29, 1918 in Arcadia, Louisiana and entered into rest January 7, 2015 in Minden, Louisiana. She was co-owner of Bridges Clothing Store, a member of Junior Service League, and made Barbie doll dresses for family, friends, and patients at and sent them to St. Jude Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack C. Bridges, Sr. and H.S. Bell, son, Thomas H. Bridges, and 11 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Jack C. Bridges, Jr. and wife Mary Anne of Orlando, Florida; sister Peg McKenzie of Minden; daughter-in-law, Jean Allison and husband Johnny of Minden; granddaughter Terri Bridges Farriel and husband Kenneth of Baton Rouge; grandson, Clifford Lee Bridges and wife Adilia of Fullerton, California; granddaughter, Jennifer Bridges McGregor of Garland, Texas; granddaughter, Jaclyn Bridges Bacon and husband Kirk of Lafayette; great-grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
