Sybil "Sib" Johnson

Graveside services for Mrs. Sybil "Sib" Gordon Johnson, 91, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Hall Summit, Louisiana. Brother Guy Brieder will officiate. Mrs. Johnson was born on August 10, 1928 in Red River Parish, LA to Myrtle and William O. Gordon. She went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 24, 2020 in Shreveport, LA. Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her husband, P.A. "Pete" Johnson; son, Larry Johnson; parents; brothers, Otis, Lloyd and Merce Gordon and sister, Irene Gordon Gay. She is survived by her son, Phil Johnson of Port Richey, FL; three grandsons, Stephen Johnson and wife, Patty, of GA, James Johnson and Brandi Johnson of LA and Nicholas Johnson and wife, Tee of FL; five great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Janice Johnson LaFitte and husband, Gene, of LA and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org or to the charity of the donor's choice.
