Sylvia Jaquetta Golden

Blanchard, LA - Funeral services for Jaquetta "Jackie" Golden, 83, will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Blanchard, LA. Officiating will be Brother Doug Allen and Brother Dale Sauls. Jackie's family will receive friends at the church prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Jackie was born April 25, 1931 in Hornbeck, LA and passed away January 14, 2015. She was a resident of Shreveport and a longtime member of First Baptist Blanchard. She retired from her years of service as dietician at Northwood High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Golden; daughter, Diane Golden; and grandchild, Charlie Latham. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Michael L. Golden; daughter, Vickie Golden; grandchildren, Michael, Chris, Layn, Jacob, Josh, Leah, Rachel, and Lori.
