Sylvia Rockhold Hudson

A Memorial Service for Sylvia Rockhold Hudson, 76, will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 1174 Co Rd 328, DeBerry, Texas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Kevin Moore.

Sylvia was born on June 23, 1946 in Jonesboro, Louisiana to Jack L. Rockhold and Jean Browne Rockhold and passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Sylvia was a resident of Bethany, Louisiana and worked in the financial industry as a loan supervisor. She loved travelling with her friends, Mardi Gras and football, particularly the Saints and LSU. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Her family and friends meant the world to her as well as her four-legged family member, Sadie.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert (Bob) Hudson; sons, Robert (Rusty) Hudson and Randall Hudson; daughter, Rhonda Hudson Crow; grandson, Wesley Davenport; and brother, Jack Rockhold. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ralph Hudson and wife, Renee’; Cliff Hudson and wife, Glennie; and Gregg Hudson and wife, Angie; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Tony Rockhold and wife, Sherri; nephew, Nathan Rockhold; and her furbaby, Sadie.
