  Florien, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Tammy Thompson, 47, will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Antioch Baptist Church in Florien, LA with Reverend Louis Slaughter and John Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Florien, LA. The family will receive friends at Antioch Baptist Church from 6PM until on Friday June 3, 2016.   Tammy was born on January 1, 1969 in Many, Louisiana to Patsy Miller Freeman Downs and James Freeman and passed away on Wednesday June 1, 2016 at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX with her family by her side.   Proceeding her in death were her mother, Patsy Miller Freeman; step father Henry Down; grandparents Travis & Martha Miller; Great Aunt & Great Uncle Closter & Minnie Lee Miller; Uncle James Larry Miller.   She is survived by her husband, Marc Thompson; Son Caleb Thompson; Daughter Megan Thompson; father James Freeman and Special cousins Brian & Scott Miller.   Serving as pallbearers will beBrian Miller, DeWayne Slaughter, Clay Corley, Jackie Thompson, Jimmy Speight, Cleve Thompson and Chris Funderburk. Honorary pallbearers will be: Greg Cole and Glen Cole
