Teri Lynn Pruitt

A visitation for Teri Lynn Pruitt,67, will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St. Teri was born on February 21, 1953 to Arnold Leon Hunt and Betty Jean Wren Hunt in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She graduated Fair Park High School in Shreveport, Louisiana and obtained a bachelor's degree in Art and Education from LSUS. After graduation, she became a special education teacher with the Caddo Parish School Board. Teri is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Christina Renee Lewing; sisters, Rebecca Jean Thornton and Susan Elizabeth Hunt and brothers, Kerry Lane Hunt and Charles Dean Hunt. She is survived by her husband, Ulysses S. "Jay" Pruitt; son, Reece Lewing, III and wife, Amy; brother, Steven Mark Hunt; granddaughters, Emily Grace Lewing, Megan Marshall and Madison Marshall and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
