Mansfield, LA - Mass of Christian Burial for Bubba Deers, 54, will be 11:00 AM, on Friday, May15, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rambin with Father Matthew Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Carmel. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield from 5:00 until 9:00 PM with Rosary at 5:30 PM, on Thursday, May 13, 2015. Bubba was born May 23, 1960 in Zwolle to Buford and Annie Mae Deers and passed away at home on May 9, 2015. He really enjoyed his time working for Wal-Mart at a night stockman. Preceding Bubba in death were his parents; sister Janis Deers; and niece Jessica Deers. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sisters Connie Deers and Debra Watson; brother Jerry Deers; nieces Kathi Wells and husband Clint, Tiffany Watson and fiancé Montreal Robinson, Brooke Calhoun and husband Dale, and Haley Deers; great nieces and nephews Brittany Wells, Brett Wells, Ramon Woods, Jr., Kelby Dale Calhoun, De'Andre Robinson, and De'Audrea Robinson. Honoring the life of Bubba as pallbearers will be Andy Tyler, Johnny Chadwick, Steve Chadwick, Gary Caston, Mike Ebarb, and Jacob Samford. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Burns, Clint Hogan, Ray Haley, and Foster Gamble. Special thanks to, Dr. Ben Leggio and staff of DeSoto Regional Health System, Superior Hospice, Father Matthew Long, and Father Joseph Ampatt.
