Theresa Curry
A memorial service for Theresa Curry will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at St. George's Episcopal Church, 1959 Airline Drive, Bossier City, LA. Officiating will be The Very Reverend James E. Flowers. There will be a visitation prior to the service in the Church Parlor at 1:00 p.m. Following the service, burial will be at Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery, 601 Hwy 80 E, Haughton, LA.
Theresa passed away Sunday, July 27, at Riverview Care Center in Bossier City, LA. She was born in Orange, TX on September 15, 1920. She was a homemaker, and who for many years kept children in her home, she belonged to the Order of Eastern Star, and was a long-time resident of Bossier City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.L. Curry; son, Jerry Bob Curry; her parents, as well as five brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Willingham; son-in-law, Dennis Willingham; her sister, Betty Pinckley; her grandchildren, Jerry Curry (Dean), Pam Murray (Steve), Patti Dean (Jonathan); seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces, Pattie Lachle, Gloria Roberts and Jamie Hubier.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the entire Staff at Riverview Care Center, especially those who work the North Hall for their care and kindness during her five years there. Also a special thanks to Schumpert Hospice for their kindness and compassion.
