Thomas was born on March 7, 1961 to Thomas Selbon Foster, Sr. and Nancy Parker Foster in Zwolle, Louisiana and passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 at home in Zwolle, Louisiana, surrounded by the ones who loved him the most.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. His trips to Colorado, turkey hunting in Kisatchie or running dogs were some of his favorite stories to tell. However, what he loved most in this world was his grandkids. He and his wife, Carolyn, were married 42 years.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His family finds comfort in knowing that he is no longer struggling here on this earth. In heaven they have hopes the air is fresh, the fish are big and there’s a 12-point buck waiting for him.
Thomas is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Parker Foster, and his father, Thomas Selbon Foster, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Foster; son, Jeffrey Remedies and wife, Tara, of Noble, Louisiana; daughters, Ashley Foster Jones and husband, Joe Calvin Jones, of Zwolle, Louisiana and April Stewart and husband, Nathan Stewart, of Zwolle, Louisiana; brothers, Charles Foster and wife, Diane, of Fisher, Louisiana and Gerald Foster of Negreet, Louisiana; sister, Marie Laroux of Negreet, Louisiana; grandchildren, Destiny Garcie (his angel), Lucas Remedies, Madalyn Ebarb, Selina Ebarb, Landry Remedies, James Thomas Hughes, Carley Sepulvado, Kyle Stewart, Kolby Stewart, and MarLee Stewart; great-grandchildren, Callie Garcie, Addison Stewart, Emmersyn Stewart, Kason Sepulvado; and his godchild, Brittany Small.
Honoring Thomas as pallbearers will be Dustin Ezernack, Joe Calvin Jones, Jonathan Meshell, Kevin Meshell, Monk Sepulvado, and Nathan Stewart. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Steve Dwire, Randall Foster, James Thomas Hughes, Paul Procell, Lucas Remedies, and Kolby Stewart.
The family would like to give a special thanks to his home health nurse, Mandy Terrell, and his hospice nurse, Linda Dockens.
