Thomas Joseph Ott

Funeral services honoring the life of Thomas Joseph "T.J." Ott, 80, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Spring Ridge Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana with Rev. Ricky Wead officiating. Assisting the service will be Bro. Jonathan McManus. Interment will follow at Spring Ridge Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday. T.J. was born on June 6, 1940 in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana to Thomas and Tulsa Ott. He entered into eternal rest on July 21, 2020 in Converse, Louisiana. Preceding him in death are his parents, Tom and Tulsa Ott; wife, Mary Alice Ott; brothers, Melton, Marvin, and Azell Ott; sisters, Lillie Youngblood and Judy Hippler; granddaughter, Holly Mathews. He is survived by his wife, Sue Ott and her sons, Benny Ott and James Ott of Mitchell, LA; daughters, Sheila Mitchell and husband Vernon of Mansfield, LA, Becky Folden and husband Terry of Natchitoches, LA, Nita Butler and husband Lonnie of Pleasant Hill, LA, and Jeanie Rains and husband Wayne of Pleasant Hill, LA; sisters, Lucille Rivers and Deborah Ott; brothers, Robert Ott and Franklin Ott; 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren by love and heart, and a host of nieces and nephews. Honoring T.J. as pallbearers will be Cody Hippler, Justin Rains, Skylar Waddle, Mico Santiago, Billy Joe Blankenship, and Bobby Waddle. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Roger Rains, Wayne Rains, Vernon Mitchell, Terry Folden, John Matthews, Benny Ott and James Ott.
