Thomas "Uncle Tom" McCain Jr.

Graveside services for Thomas "Uncle Tom" McCain, Jr. , 76, of Shreveport, LA, will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 7, 2020, at Forest Park West Cemetery with Rev. John Rabo officiating. Tom, the son of Thomas and Margaret Sullivan McCain, was born September 3, 1943 in Corpus Christi, TX and passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 40 years Peggy McCain; his sister Kay Mills; and his brother, Kevin McCain. Tom was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He worked at the Shreveport Salvage Pool, Trio Fabricators and Lenders Option Corporation. Left to cherish Tom's memory is his daughter, Amber McCain Cason (Richard); grandchildren, Connor, Chandler and Chase Cason; sisters-in-law; Linda (husband, Lee Roy) Giddens and Sandy (husband, Ray) Ketchum along with numerous nephews, nieces and extended family and friends.
