HOMER, LA: Graveside services were held for Mr. Thomas P. Richardson, Jr., 77, at Antioch Cemetery in Antioch, LA on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Larry Sellers, officiating. The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5-7 p.m.
Mr. Richardson was born September 16, 1939 in Homer, LA, to Arveda Blackwelder and Thomas P. Richardson, Sr. He entered into rest on Monday, June 19, 2017 in Shreveport, LA following a lengthy illness. Mr. Richardson served his country in the U.S. Airforce and was a Master Carpenter.
Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Farris Richardson and Jeanie; and brother, Robert L. Richardson.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Levader Ross Richardson; four sons, Steve Richardson and wife, Liza of Graham, WA, Bob Richardson and wife, Kristi of Graham, WA, Terry Richardson of Puyallup, WA and Brad Barton and wife, Shilcen of Louisville, KY; three daughters, Barbara Schmitten and husband, Dennis of Puyallup, WA, Sandra Coffe and husband, Dennis of Gig Harbor, WA and Candace Kendrix and husband, Jackie of Eros, LA; a sister, Betty Richardson Davis; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Steve Richardson, Bob Richardson, Jackie Kindrix, Brad Barton, James Richardson and Lonnie Bell.
