Thomas Ray Swilley

Mansfield, LA – Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Thomas Ray Swilley will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Chapel, 943 Polk Street, Mansfield, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Richard Tull. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Stanley, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023, from noon until time of service.

Thomas was born on December 3, 1945, to Thomas and Myrtie Swilley in Jena, Louisiana and entered into rest on Monday, September 25, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Janice Stratton.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Linda Swilley; sons, Steven Ray Swilley (Edna), Robert Swilley (Sheri), and Stacey Justice (Suzanne); daughters, Malinda Allday (Bubba) and Lanai Cordeiro (Brant); sisters, Linda Turner (Gene) and Gail Mauldin (George); 14 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

Honoring Thomas as pallbearers will be Luis Ramos, Austin Mullins, Joey Locke, Conner Locke, Trey Beckwith, and Robert Swilley II. Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Justice, Timothy Beckwith, and Thomas Campbell.

The family would like to express a special thank you to his sister and brother-in-law, Gail and George Mauldin.
