Mansfield, LA - Graveside services honoring the life of Thomas Valentine, 80, will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Pelican Cemetery in Pelican, LA with Reverend William Valentine officiating. Thomas was born on November 4, 1935 in Cotton Valley, LA to John Harvey and Kattie Atwood Valentine and passed away on October 15, 2016 in Mansfield, LA. Thomas was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Preceding Thomas in death were his parents John Harvey and Kattie Atwood Valentine; brother, Johnny D. Valentine, and son Roger Valentine who passed away in a Desert Storm causality in 2001. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sisters, Joyce V. Bedsole and husband Jackie, Jeanette V. Norwood and husband Richard; brother, Leonard Wray Valentine and wife Barbara; step-daughter, Teresa Thatcher and husband; sister-in-law, Lynn Valentine, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
