Timothy "Scoop" Larry Steadman

Timothy Larry “Scoop” Steadman, 62, of Zwolle, Louisiana passed away in Shreveport, Louisiana on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. He was born on July 17, 1961, in Natchitoches, Louisiana to Larry Steadman, Jr. and Edwina (Leach) Steadman.

A memorial service will be held to commemorate his life at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, 9891 Texas Highway, Many, Louisiana with Bro. Daniel Thomas officiating. All are invited to partake in this service to mourn the passing of “Scoop”.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Larry, Jr. and Edwina (Leach) Steadman . He is survived by his brother, Terry Steadman & wife, Jamie of Natchitoches, LA, his nephew, Sam Steadman of Ajax, LA;      his niece, Amy Steadman of West Monroe, LA; several adopted families along with many close friends,  and other family members.

“Scoop” was a truck driver for over 40 years; not only was trucking his profession but it was what made him happiest! If he was not working, he liked having fun with friends and family members along with some cold beverages. Story telling was another hobby he really liked doing with friends and family near and far. He loved the Smokey Mountains, he especially enjoyed the scenery around  Mena, Arkansas.
