A funeral service for Timothy "Tim" Louis Spohrer, 65, will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church Stonewall, 2260 Hwy 171, Louisiana. Burial will follow at St. Ann's Cemetery in Stonewall. A visitation will be held Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 3400 Southside Dr., Shreveport. Officiating the service will be Father John Paul Crispin.
Tim was born on July 2, 1955 to Paul Patrick Spohrer and Freddie Irene Ponselle in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away Friday July 24, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Tim was a good man with a big heart. He spent every day for a year and a half taking care of his mother and disabled brother before they passed. He worked for GM for 30 years until he retired and was known for his hard work. When he wasn't working, you could find him fishing, playing cards and watching football with his friends and family.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerome Spohrer and infant siblings, Marie and Joseph Spohrer. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Boyd; sisters, Betty Spohrer, Laura Pendleton and husband, Rickey; brothers, Pat Spohrer and wife, Ruby; Daniel Spohrer and many grandchildren, great-children, nieces and nephews.
Honoring Timothy as pallbearers will be Tom Morton, Joe Morton, Brian Morton, John David Wallace, Jeffery Goodman, Nick "Bud" Rains. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be David Boyd, Richard Spohrer, Matthew Rains and Hutson Morton.
