Tommy Michael "Mike" Hammons

Funeral service for Tommy Michael “Mike” Hammons, will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. Visitation will be held starting at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Dr. Brad Jurkovich will officiate the service. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Mike was born October 30, 1956, in Shreveport, LA to Tommy Hammons and Nina Johnson Daugherty. He entered into rest on January 4, 2025, at his home in Doyline, LA. Mike proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. Mike was an avid LSU fan. He never missed an LSU game whether it was football or baseball. He was happily retired and enjoyed his Mondays at Our Place and Fridays on Da Porch with Sissy and friends.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Hammons and Nina Johnson Daugherty; step father, Harris Daughtery; and by his brother-in-law, Tony Manuel. Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Thomas Hammons and wife Jessica and Michael Hammons; grandchildren, Sam and Emmarie Hammons; sister, Karen “Sissy” Manuel; niece, Kacee Manuel; and by numerous other cousins, relatives, and friends.
